On Halloween afternoon, we held Averi's 3rd birthday party...carnival style! She had all her playdate friends & family here to celebrate! The weather throughout the week was cool and rainy...which was making it pretty stressful for us!I don't know how many times God heard the same prayer from me EVERY. SINGLE. DAY! But He prevailed and gave us the most beautiful day of the week! We had originally planned for an all outdoor party, but since we unsure of the forecast we transformed our garage into the "carnival"! Of course the gigantor birthday cake bounce house was setup in the backyard! (FYI: Mooreville Rent-All is the best place ever!!)It was a little muddy, but what kid doesn't like the mud?! And thank God for tarps! We also had Cowboy P.T. come do balloon animals, a goldfish toss, bean bag toss, Lucky Ducks, and silly photo banners!! Everyone feasted on cupcakes, iced cookies, hot dogs, cheetos, and what's a carnival without popcorn & cotton candy!! Thanks to Averi's daddy for staying up super late & making all the cotton candy! In the end, everything turned out great & we gave our little girl an awesome 3rd birthday carnival! She had so much fun that when it came time to get dressed in costume to go Trick-or-Treating, she did not want to go! We tried our best to talk her into going, but she didn't want any part of it! So, we stayed home & she had the best time handing out the candy!! I just love her!
