On Christmas Eve, we went to Mass with my parents at their church in Fulton. Afterwards, we ate dinner at their house & visited for a little while. Mainly to let Averi wind down before attending Midnight Mass at our church here in Tupelo. We were especially holy that night! But attending Midnight Mass is something we've always done since becoming members at St. James. It's a
beautiful service...the choir begins singing at 11:30pm and it's just the most glorious music you've ever heard! Averi did surprisingly well & stayed awake through all of the caroling, but then finally fell asleep in her daddy's arms about 15 minutes into Mass. Luckily, we had her already dressed in her pajamas...since we didn't get home until 1:30am. We got her in bed just in time before Santa arrived!
