Up

Today, we took Averi to her first trip to the movie theater! Disney/Pixar's newest movie Up was released this weekend, so we decided it would be the perfect time to introduce her to the theater. After church, we cooked our usual Sunday pancake breakfast...yummy! and asked her if she wanted to watch a movie today. Of course she said yes not really knowing what that entailed. Her usual movie watching is done here at our home while sitting on the couch or while lying in my bed!! We told her it was a movie she hasn't seen before, so we pulled up the trailer for the movie on my iPhone & let her watch it. She was SO VERY EXCITED! After her nap, she woke up and said "Let's go to the movies!!" It was too precious! Anyways, she did fabulous! I couldn't haven't asked for a more perfect first trip to the movies! She sat through the entire movie, ate popcorn and gummi bears, drank Sprite, and even wore her 3-D glasses for the majority of the movie! Not once did she ask to leave the theater or go to the potty during the movie! It was such a good movie too, so that helped! We are so proud of her! Can't wait to bring her again!
