My little mermaid!

And I don't mean Ariel! It's that time of the year for Averi to get back into the pool. For the past 2 weeks she's had ISR refresher and has been one little fishy! I just knew she had forgotten all of the skills she had acquired last summer, but she proved me wrong! It took a couple of days for her to learn to like it again, but once she figured out it wasn't all work, she began to have fun. Don't get me wrong, she'll occasionally say "Back to Mama!" during her float!! Totally different little girl from last summer...she was all about the float last year & this year, she's more determined to swim! Yay! Thanks Mrs. Jala & Mrs. Regina for all your hard work & patience!

Mrs. Jala noticed her cutting her eyes over & checking out the competition (while underwater)during a mini-race with another student. So funny for a little girl who didn't like to swim last year!!
