It was such a beautiful day this past Sunday, that we decided to spend most of the afternoon outside. We kicked off the afternoon with a yummy lunch from Dairy Kream. Yes, the good ol' Dairy Kream on East Main...gotta love it! We placed our order and sat on the picnic benches & thoroughly enjoyed our meal (along with Strawberry milkshakes for each of us). Averi even topped it off with a vanilla ice cream cone!! She was in hog heaven!!
After lunch, we did go indoors for just a few minutes. We had promised Averi a ride on the "neigh" in the mall for doing such a fabulous job with going to the potty! Yes, we're slowly trying to potty-train her. And she's been catching on fairly well. She went all last week without having an accident, so a carousel ride was her prize! It's not something she gets to do often since neither me or Allen like riding on it. I know, we're terrible parents for depriving our daughter from riding the carousel b/c it's something we don't like to do. But on the bright side, it's working in our favor as a reward during this potty-training phase!! Sorry, no pictures...too blurry. We ended our afternoon at home by playing in the backyard, we walked around the neighborhood, and stopped to feed the duck. It really was a wonderful day spent with our family and a beautiful Sunday kind of love....
